The End Is Near

Death, persecution, agony. Yep all those things are coming to our world. Some already have to a certain extent. Our world is going down and quickly not to mention.

We all need to be prepared for all those things and more. I normally forget about this and just continue living my life. On Sunday. My pastor preached on us needing to prepare ourselves for the coming persecution. 

It really opened my eyes that I need to spiritually ground myself in God so I won't be swayed when the testing of my faith comes. This is talked about in Luke 21:11-19:

 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. 

“But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.  And so you will bear testimony to me. But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.  For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.

That Scripture really opened my eyes. Family will betray family, whoever thought of that. But it is true, when someone's got a gun to your head you might give in to betray Jesus. This is why we need to test ourselves, question ourselves, and ground ourselves in God's word. 

This is something I felt God wanted me to share with you all. We need to wake up and realize this world is coming to a time of persecution. Wake up people of God and let's share this message with others!
